A half slip-cast and half hand-built porcelain pot, decorated with a traditional Chinese porcelain glaze and a rock from the Cairngorms.

The way the rock melted is just wonderful. It looks like lichen growing on the white porcelain pot. This is the beauty of the project I was trying to communicate. The difference of the materials and the landscape. It forces you to stay curious, many rocks look very similar in my eyes, but then you fire them to a temperature and suddenly they are all different.
