Materials: Clay, glazed with rocks, sand and clay from the north coast of Scotland
Dimensions: 36×36cm
Exhibited at: They Had Four Years, Generator Projects, Dundee
This piece was commissioned by the Generator Projects, it is a sculptural wall piece. The piece is inspired by my time living on the north coast of Scotland - in Tongue. There are over 150 beaches scattered around the rugged landscape. This piece is celebrating that beauty, but also the beauty of noticing and picking up the sands. Every single one looks different, even when the beaches are only separated by one rock formation.
